A CASE of High Anticipation
Looking at the social media posts on the event, I am predicting a large attendance for the Roadshow, with a wide range of visitors coming along to take a look, including company owners, operators, journalists and the now usual scattering of 'social media influencers' also popping along too.
My memory drifts back to the last event I attended with CASE, during its Eagle Days campaign which took place at the Maltby coal mine facility back in 2019, that was a great event and not overwhelming numbers so plenty of opportunity to get “hands on” with the kit.

We are expecting to see a good variety of machines during the Roadshow, with larger E-Series excavators, both tracked and wheeled and even C-Series motor graders.

Personally, I’m looking forward to getting on board the new fully electric CX25EV 2.5-tonne class mini excavator. The machine is powered by a 32.3kWh battery which the company say can provide you with up to 8 hours of actual operating time. Charging with the standard on board charger overnight can take between 8 and 10 hours, but there is also an optional fast charge system that will top up the battery in around 1.5 to 2 hours.

We look forward to meeting up with old friends and colleagues at what promises to be a brilliant show.
