AER Rents makes major fleet investment

AER Rents, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading specialist hire and sales groups, has announced a major new collaboration with global machinery manufacturer SANY. The multi-million-pound order sees 50 new machines - including telehandlers and excavators, joining the fleets at MPH, DHS Complete Hire and Chippindale Plant over the coming Summer.

This significant investment underlines AER Rents’ confidence in the market and its long-term commitment to safe, productive and sustainable fleet growth.

Before confirming the deal, AER Rents conducted a thorough review of the market and undertook an extensive due diligence process. This included visiting SANY’s world-class manufacturing facilities in China, where Group leaders assessed build quality, engineering processes and after-sales support first-hand.

The order comprises a diverse range of SANY excavators – from compact units to mid-sized models – along with a fleet of powerful, multi-purpose telehandlers, that will represent SANY’s largest order to date for the newly launched SANY telehandler series. Fulfilment will be managed through SANY’s regional dealer network: BANNER Equipment will supply the largest portion of the order to Chippindale Plant, SANY’s direct sales team will deliver to Mr Plant Hire in the South East, and Sleator Plant, SANY’s official dealer in Ireland, will handle the order for DHS Complete Hire.

The machines will be delivered in phases over the coming months, expanding the Group’s capacity in key areas and enhancing service to construction, infrastructure and maintenance markets across the UK and Ireland.

AER Rents worked closely with SANY throughout the process, aligning on product choice, delivery logistics and shared values of innovation and quality.
