Auger Torque 100K Max Earth Drill

Auger Torque, a manufacturer and global provider of earthmoving attachments, has announced the addition of the 100K Max Earth Drill in response to increasing market demand. Engineered to work with excavators between 21 and 50 tonnes, it provides an impressive 100,000Nm of torque and 15rpm. The 100K Max is geared for high torque applications including, but not limited to, screw pile/anchor installation, large diameter drilling and core barrelling.

In December 2020, Auger Torque partnered with Keller Limited to install 104 helical piles at Southend Hospital in the South East (pictured) to support a new three-storey ward assisting with the Covid-19 crisis. Installation was carried out using a 22-tonne Cat 320 hydraulic excavator. The 100,000 max torque head attachment allowed Keller to install the piles with high torque capacities to a depth between 6m to 10m in the site-specific ground conditions.
