Bell ‘On Track’ for European Launch at Bauma

There is no bigger platform to launch a new range of machines than Bauma, so Bell Equipment have got their timing just right. Tracked dumpers/carriers are becoming increasingly popular across Europe and especially here in the UK where conditions underfoot can all too often be soft, making such low ground pressure machines invaluable during the winter months in particular.

According to a Bell spokesman, these new models have been under development for several years, which involved a number of US dealers who offered reviews and feedback on the design before any prototypes were built.

These same dealers were later involved in field trials of the prototypes in the USA, which enabled them to gather invaluable feedback from end-users, which was reported back to Bell Equipment, enabling them to fine-tune the products. Since their launch in the US a significant number of units have already been sold.

Two models will be available, the TC7A and the larger TC11A, both models are powered by Stage V emissions compliant 6.7 litre Cummins engine, offering power output ratings of 168kW (225hp) @2200rpm on the TC7A and 186kW (249hp) @2000rpm on the TC11A.

According to Bell, both models are available with different configurations on the backend to suit a potential customer’s needs. The compact TC7A (W: 2 590mm, L: 5 690mm, H: 3 073mm) has a combination bin that can be used as a dump bed (3,5m³) or a flat deck when the sides are folded down and the tailgate is removed.

The TC11A (W: 2 895mm, H: 3 200mm) can be ordered with either a dump bed (5,25m³; total length: 5 970mm) or a flat deck (total length: 6 833mm). The flat deck versions are suitable as universal carriers for equipping with lifting gear, concrete mixers or other special equipment.

We are looking forward to checking out the machines at Bauma, but in the meantime here is a promotional video from Bell.
