CASE Goes Large with the TV620B CTL

The US is a massive market for skid steer loaders and they continue to grow in popularity in other regions too. Customers are increasingly demanding more productivity from these machines across a range of applications and CASE have answered those demands with the launch of the 16,100lb, 114hp TV620B.

This beast of a machine is without doubt the largest production CTL manufactured to date and features some serious heavy metal in its fabrication.

The machines come’s as standard with a 1.25 cubic yard capacity bucket which has been specifically designed for the TV620B. Like most modern machines these days, the controls are electro-hydraulic which can be adjusted to suit individual operator’s requirements, by using the 8-inch LCD multifunction display screen in the cab.

Standard hydraulic flow is impressive enough around 41.6gpm @3,450 psi, but for those wanting to run oil hungry attachments like flail mowers and planers there is an enhanced high flow option available offering 4,100 psi.

Track length is 74 inches with an overall track width of 17.7 inches which ensures a good working footprint and stability. Automatic “Ride Control” is fitted as standard ensuring the operator has a comfortable ride and material is retained in the bucket.

Steel tracks will become an option for the TV620B and that is being developed at the moment. Readers may recall CASE showcased the prototype DL550 (seen below) known as Project Minotaur at Conexpo in Las Vegas in 2020. That machine will be officially launched early next year, and we expect the steel track option to be available for both machines around that time.

To find out more detail let’s watch this video presentation of the TV620B by CASE product specialist George Macintyre.
