Caterpillar reveals plans for CONEXPO 2020

Caterpillar has revealed its plans for the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 show, which gets underway in Las Vegas on March 10th to 14th. Caterpillar’s show area will include a mix of static displays, equipment demonstration zones, and new services/technologies under the theme of ‘Your Work Matters’. The 60,000 ft2 exhibit in the show’s new outdoor Festival Grounds includes Operator’s Stadium, where the finals of the Global Operator Challenge and equipment demonstrations take place.

Caterpillar is investing in technology and safety features showcased in more than 30 Cat machines on display, including nine new product introductions from the dozer, excavator, articulated truck and backhoe loader families. These include the new Cat D3 dozer (successor to the D5K2), the new centre-pivot 420XE backhoe loader and the new 150 AWD motor grader. Contractors visiting Caterpillar exhibit will experience the new 725 articulated truck offerings. Caterpillar will also introduce five new wheeled, small, medium and large hydraulic excavator models at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020, including the new Cat M318 wheeled excavator, new 313 GC, new 315 and new 395 excavator.

Show visitors will be the first to see Caterpillar’s latest remote control offering, an enhanced operating station with expanded capability to operate multiple pieces of equipment, equipped with the Command Vision System, from a single remote station. The Cat Command remote control system also offers a portable console, designed for line-of-sight use, which will also be showcased in the exhibit. Making its North American trade show debut from Cat paving products, Command for Compaction automates the compaction process to increase quality. The paving products group will also showcase the latest advancements for its eRoutes 3.0 asphalt delivery solution.
