Cat’s Malaga show time

This show was a well-choreographed affair, as one would expect from the hugely experienced team of demonstration operators in Malaga. In this 40 minute show many of the the Caterpillar machines took on the role of wild animals, complete with backing sound effects and spectacular pyro-technics. One of the first scenes featured two Cat wheeled loaders, who were playing the roles of elephants, as you do! A line up of Caterpillar dozers later passed by the in front of the grandstand representing evolution, as they travelled over undulating terrain which I believe represented waves. A Caterpillar material handler then took on the role of an adult female giraffe, feeding its baby calf, played by a Cat mini excavator. As part of the “sea” aspect of the show, two of Caterpillars latest H series motor scrapers played the part of whales swimming in the deep, having appeared out of the darkness of a Spanish evening. Of course no Malaga show would be complete without the famous “Malaga Push” to finish off with. In a strange way this was more spectacular than seeing it in the daylight, and it was a fantastic end to a stunning show by the team. Apologies for some dodgy photography from your blogger in this post, think I had overdone it on the falling down water earlier in the evening! We thank the Malaga team for putting on such an original and interesting event during our visit.
