Collins Earthworks praises Tianli Tyres for performance and 25% cost savings
A strategic move by ADR UK, a leading provider of axle, brake, and suspension solutions, is set to revolutionise the off-road machinery sector in the UK. Following its recent acquisition of The British Rubber Company (BRC), ADR UK has forged a landmark partnership with Tianli, a global tyre brand under ZC Rubber. This collaboration marks Tianli's official entry into the UK market, with Collins Earthworks already reporting significant benefits from adopting the tyres across their diverse fleet.
Known globally for their durability and reliability, Tianli tyres are now set for widespread adoption in the UK. The British Rubber Company (BRC), recently acquired by ADR UK, has already built a strong foundation, successfully distributing Tianli for the past three years and receiving excellent customer feedback. This proven track record was instrumental when Collins Earthworks, initially seeking vintage tractor tyres, was persuaded by BRC's Managing Director, Tom Card, to trial Tianli tyres on other equipment. The success of these trials led to a full-fleet rollout across Collins' tractors, dump trucks, wheeled loaders, rollers, trailers, and soil stabilising machines.
Tom Card, Managing Director of BRC, highly praises the product's performance:
"Tianli tyres offer unbeatable performance and great value for money. Their unique tread pattern delivers excellent traction and braking, while strong sidewalls protect against cuts and punctures. They absorb shocks and swings, providing exceptional stability, and transition smoothly across different terrains with minimal noise and vibration. Crucially, they are the only brand we've found that not only works across a variety of machines and applications but out-performs other leading brands in those markets."
He further elaborates on the strategic importance of the acquisition: "It's an absolute honour for The British Rubber Company to join the ADR Group family. With BRC's 98-year footprint in the agricultural sector, I truly believe that together, we can now further expand our offering without compromising the high quality of service and delivery we're known for. With Tianli tyres now available exclusively through ADR and BRC, our customers can count on a stronger, more complete solution.”
Josh Doherty, Workshop Manager at Collins Earthworks, confirms the tangible benefits: "We've been using Tianli tyres for over a year now and we've been very impressed with their performance. Crucially, we've achieved a 25% cost saving compared to other brands we were using. The fact that Tianli tyres work seamlessly across our entire fleet – from tractors to dump trucks – also streamlines our supply chain and boosts operational efficiency. Tianli’s lifetime guarantee on Agricultural Radial tyres further underscores their product commitment and gives us peace of mind."
BRC and Collins Earthworks are now collaborating to comprehensively measure the tyres' long-term impact, focusing on reduced downtime from punctures, extended tyre longevity, and improved operator comfort. A detailed report is anticipated as Tianli tyres become an even more integral part of the Collins fleet.
Pawel Tomczak, Managing Director of ADR Tyremart UK, concludes with a strong vision for the future:
"We are thrilled to welcome BRC into the ADR family. Combining BRC's rich heritage and distribution expertise with our extensive track record in supporting OEMs in the agricultural machinery sector will undoubtedly bolster our market position and enhance our service offerings, particularly within new markets like construction. Our partnership with Tianli allows us to deliver unmatched value across the machinery manufacturing sector.
Together with Tianli, we are bringing smarter, stronger, and more efficient tyre solutions to the UK market.
