Develon CVT wheel loaders

André Voß Erdbau & Transport GmbH, based in Rostock in Germany, offers its customers a wide range of services in the areas of transport, logistics, disposal and delivery of road building materials. The company recently purchased five new DL420CVT-7 wheel loaders from Develon. The DL420CVT-7 uses a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) that significantly improves fuel efficiency compared to a torque converter machine. For the past three years, two previous generation CVT wheel loaders had each completed around 2,300 operating hours a year at the company. The average fuel consumption was reportedly 13.4L per hour.

André Voß Erdbau & Transport GmbH has a wide range of activities, ranging from being a waste disposal company, Europe-wide heavy transport and logistics services to the trade in bulk goods. The company has its own storage facilities for the extraction of sand and gravel as well as quay facilities in Stralsund and Wolgast for the delivery of other marine building materials from the Baltic Sea and imports. The areas of application for the new wheel loaders will be correspondingly diverse. Their main tasks include loading trucks, mixing bulk materials, feeding crushing plants and direct mining in sand pits.
