Develon looking forward to a strong Steinexpo
Develon will return to steinexpo 2026 with a strong line-up of construction equipment, highlighting new machines, advanced safety systems and digital technologies designed to improve productivity and operator confidence. The company will exhibit at booth A21, occupying almost 500m², with additional machines operating in the live demonstration area from 2-5 September in Nieder-Ofleiden.
Following a successful debut at the event three years ago, Develon is placing major emphasis on this year's exhibition. “Our entire sales team will be on site,” said René Halter, a member of the management board at Develon Germany. “Existing customers and many new prospects have already scheduled appointments with us.”
Making their steinexpo debut are the DX360LC-9 and DX400HD-9 crawler excavators from the new Series 9 range, first introduced at bauma 2025. Built for demanding quarrying, mining and construction applications, both models combine high lifting performance, stability and durability with enhanced productivity and operator comfort. They also feature the Smart AVM camera system and E-Stop safety technology. Using up to six cameras with AI-powered object detection, Smart AVM delivers a 360-degree view around the machine, while E-Stop uses radar sensors to detect nearby people or obstacles, slowing or stopping the machine automatically when required.
Also on display is the all-electric DX160WE wheeled excavator, designed for productive, low-noise operation in urban environments. Powered by an LFP battery, it provides all-day performance with reduced maintenance and flexible charging options.

Develon's articulated dump truck range is represented by the DA45-7 on the stand, with a DA30-7 working in the demonstration area to showcase its performance in difficult terrain. Visitors can also see the DL420CVT-7 wheel loader, featuring a continuously variable transmission for improved fuel efficiency, alongside the Transparent Bucket 2.0 system, which uses dual cameras to eliminate front blind spots and improve site safety. The machine also incorporates Smart Load technology and an automatic hydraulic differential lock for greater efficiency.
Large wheel loaders, including either the DL550-7 or DL580-7, will also feature in the demonstrations, showcasing their high breakout forces, strong bucket-filling performance and award-winning Transparent Bucket 2.0 technology.

Alongside the equipment, Develon will present its My Develon digital platform, allowing customers to access machine information, arrange maintenance and request support through a website and mobile app that continues to evolve in response to customer feedback.
