Dozer Dances on Ice
This post will either be amusing to some or horrify the bulldozer purists out there, but either way its certain to get people talking.
This ‘operator’ decided to have some “fun” on a frozen pond by drifting his Caterpillar D6N dozer across the ice at high speed, not just once but for over 2 minutes, pulling off a series of moves with the machine which has an operating weight of around 16-tonnes.
It could have ended in disaster at any moment, if the ice had given way under the weight of the machine, we have all seen images on the internet of machines that have gone through the ice, as pictured above from the Digger Man Blog archives, fortunately this guy in the video got away with it on this occasion!
