Executive Hire Show: Thwaites wide track dumpers
Now in its 80th year, for the 2020 Executive Hire Show Thwaites has brought along wide-track versions of its 1- and 1.5-tonne compact dumpers. The company says this enhancement will give operators even greater control, as the wider front and rear axles provide additional stability.
Meanwhile, further improvements have been applied to the six-tonne and nine-tonne dumpers, with a Spring Activated Hydraulic Release Handbrake, ensuring the brake automatically engages in the event of an engine stop. Should there be a need to initiate an emergency stop, proportional braking will ensure the dumper is brought to a smooth, safe standstill. Stage V engines are now fitted to all 6-tonne and 9-tonne machines, giving the power and torque required to handle today's site conditions with a cleaner, more efficient and compliant engine.
