Finning UK acquires John F. Hunt Power Group

Finning (UK) Ltd has acquired John F Hunt Power Group Ltd, bringing the power solutions and engineering business into the Finning organisation.

Around 145 John F Hunt Power Group employees will join Finning, increasing its combined workforce across the UK and Ireland to approximately 1,900 people.

John F Hunt Power Group will continue to operate under its existing trading name, with the addition of “A Finning Company”.

The acquisition brings together the companies’ capabilities in power solutions, rental, engineering, customer support and service. Finning says the move will broaden its range of products and services while strengthening its power offering across the UK and Ireland.

Existing John F Hunt Power Group customers are not expected to see immediate changes to their day-to-day dealings with the business. Existing contracts, account managers, pricing arrangements and customer contacts will remain unchanged following completion of the transaction.
