Fuchs appointment opens ‘new pathways to growth’
New pathways to growth are amongst the operational benefits accruing to Tipperary-based construction equipment distributors, McHale Plant Sales resulting from their recent appointment to represent the Fuchs range of materials handling equipment in Ireland and Northern Ireland markets.
In addition to their construction-to-agri operations as long-established Komatsu distributors, their appointment to represent Fuchs in Ireland and Northern Ireland markets is one that gives the Birdhill and Rathcoole business a high-profile presence in recycling, scrap and metals recovery, in port and quayside materials handling, and in timber stockpile management, processing and transportation applications.
Commenting, their chairman, Michael McHale said: “our appointment to distribute Fuchs is a significant addition, boosting our role within a ‘net-zero’ focused environment by extending our reach in waste recovery and reprocessing, port and materials handling, and by expanding our strong presence in timber harvesting and processing sectors”.
A Terex Group brand, Fuchs equipment comprises tracked, wheeled, and fixed-position grab handlers used primarily for lifting, sorting and loading of bulk materials in yard, warehouse, port, and demolition site applications.
Powered by conventional diesel engines and electric-powered drive options, a distinguishing feature is their hydraulically-driven, variable-height adjustable cab from which the operator can have bird’s-eye view control and visibility when sorting and loading.
