Going Even Greener with Avant!
It’s been five years since we last visited Avant’s facility and this event promises to be an ‘electrifying’ experience, as the company officially launches its new e series loader models and tells us more about the manufacturer’s unique battery technology innovation.
Electrification, especially in compact construction and agricultural equipment is a hot topic at the moment and Avant are right at the forefront of this technology with their OptiTemp® lithium-ion batteries that are designed and produced specifically for Avant’s electric loaders.
At the Maxpo Show I attended last year; we saw one of the new models the e527 which was presented on static display. With a battery capacity of 27kWh, this loader aimed at the construction and demolition sectors. Avant state that the operating time on medium duty work is up to 6 hours, depending on conditions, but a fully charged e527 can work all day on any construction site.
