Italian Mining Company Received an early Christmas Present
Following the build-up of the giant Komatsu dozer which features in the video below, the company Fercav SRL, held an inauguration event at its Gaianello quarry in the province of Modena, where the company undertakes production of crushed stone, sand, and wood chips.
Fercav SRL invited staff and selected guests to the event where the machine was blessed during a ceremony, and then put to work in the field to demonstrate the awesome power of this giant dozer which tips the scales at 254.195 lbs and is powered by an in-house built 890hp Komatsu diesel engine.
The new kid on the block joined existing Komatsu excavators on the fleet and a Caterpillar D11T dozer during the demonstration.
The D475A-8 is gaining quite a reputation in the heavyweight dozer class across Europe right now.
