Jamieson Contracts join the Case clan

The Father & Son owned business from Broughshane, County Antrim, in Northern Ireland, had ran the New Holland machine for six years, during which time it had proven to be relatively trouble free. However as a business that likes to keep a modern range of machines and offer its customers the latest kit and innovations, it was decided it would be a good time upgrade to a new machine and after a short spell of research they opted for the latest 13 tonne offering from Case. The Engcon tiltrotator was removed from the outgoing New Holland machine and fitted onto the new Case by highly experienced tiltrotator guru John Craig, from JCC Engcon in Scotland, who travelled across to Northern Ireland do the job. Stuart said, “We were very pleased with the installation work John did for us and we highly recommend his services to anyone contemplating going down the tiltrotator route”. The new machine which was supplied by Iain Cambell of Sleator Plant has continued to impress Stuart who said, “Coming from the zero tailswing machine I have found the cab on the Case a far better place to spend the day in, all the controls and instruments are easy to hand, I especially like the addition of the wiper control, idle shutdown and radio mute switches are all fitted within the joysticks which makes life so much easier, its these little touches that make all the difference! The machine has lots of power and is extremely smooth and positive on the controls”. Stuart continued, “In addition the machine is proving to be very frugal on the fuel front, which is a big bonus for anyone these days, we just fill it up and forget it! The machine also comes with a Case immobilizer, which really puts your mind at ease when you leave it on site in the evenings”. Stuart has also added a new work tool to the arsenal as seems to be traditional for most forward thinking tiltrotator users these days. In Stuart’s case the addition of a grab has opened a whole host of opportunities on tackling jobs and is already proving its worth on a daily basis. The Digger Man Blog thanks Stuart for sharing these photos with us and we wish you all the very best with the new machine.
