JCB’s US Team Put on a Show for America’s Got Talent: Extreme!
The idea behind this new version of America’s Got Talent, is to present the more outrageous, unusual and jaw-dropping acts that simply would not work within the confines of a TV studio of theatre, a bit like the old You Bet show on steroids!
The difference is that the contestants are battling for a chance to win a $500,000 prize and the accolade of being crowned the winner or winners of America’s Got Talent: Extreme!
Described as attempting Heavy Machinery Agility, the team using a combination of American style centre mount 3CX backhoe loaders, Compact Tracked Skid Steers and a telehandler put on a stunning show audition rounded off by the entrance of the JCB GT high speed backhoe loader, just crept into the next round by a vote of 2 to 1.
Quite what the routine will feature next time around remains a closely guarded secret, but we look forward to finding out, and yes Simon, there are many of us out here who love to see diggers!!
Simon Cowell is joined on the judging panel by a couple of people I’ve never heard of personally, but I’m sure they are big names in the US, namely WWE superstar Nikki Bella, and motocross and rally car driver Travis Pastrana.
