Luscombe Plant Hire increases Kubota range
Long-standing hire specialist, Luscombe Plant Hire, has expanded its mini-excavator fleet with the purchase of five new Kubota machines due to increased customer demand. Based in Cumbria, the family-run business purchased five new U-series Kubota mini-excavators, ranging from 1.5 to 5 tonnes, from P V Dobson & Sons. With over 35 years industry experience, Luscombe Plant Hire now boasts a 25 strong Kubota excavator fleet and has more than 100 plant items on hire throughout South Lakes and Furness Peninsula.
Simon Luscombe, Managing Director at Luscombe Plant Hire, said: “Despite the challenging times we are all facing currently, the construction industry in Cumbria and the Lake District continues to go from strength-to-strength. The local construction firms we deal with who are operating in this current climate have expressed the need for excavators that are reliable and can get the job done, leading us to our Kubota purchasing decision.”
