Lynch launch specialist labour division
Lynch has launched a new division: Lynch Labour, a labour supply service providing highly skilled and semi-skilled operatives to Tier 1 and Tier 2 infrastructure contractors across the UK.
For over 40 years, Lynch has built a reputation for operated plant hire, and this latest move marks a natural progression in the company's strategic growth. The addition of labour supply strengthens Lynch's full-service offering, supporting the delivery of complex, safety-critical infrastructure projects.
This development comes at a time when the construction industry faces a significant shortfall in skilled workers. With an estimated 247,000 new recruits needed across the sector, Lynch Labour is focused on delivering part of the solution. Already embedded in major infrastructure schemes, the Lynch team understands the importance of aligning with project-specific goals and maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and quality.
The new division will be underpinned by Lynch's strategic pillars, including its Safety First Mindset. Lynch's industry-leading People Plant Interface (PPI) practices and commitment to workforce safety remain central as the business expands.
To ensure operational excellence, a dedicated labour delivery team has been appointed, bringing expertise in sourcing, vetting, and mobilising high-quality candidates. With one of the largest databases of construction operatives in the UK, Lynch Labour is ready to support new and existing clients with the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
The pool of operatives includes:
- Slinger / signaller
- Traffic Marshall / banksman
- General operative
- Groundworker
- Gate person
- Multiskilled operative
- Ganger
- Foreperson
- Supervisor
- Concrete finisher
- Carpenter
- Bricklayer
- Steel fixer
- Pipelayer
- Street works operative
This new venture is backed by Lynch's award-winning training division. With a range of funding avenues secured for both new entrant attraction and workforce upskilling, all underpinned by strong nationwide partnerships, Lynch is committed to creating career pathways, enabling new entrants, and supporting local employment through a full 360-degree workforce solution.
Lynch Labour is now operational and welcomes opportunities to support both new and existing customers across the UK.
