McCloskey C2C Compact Cone Crusher set for Hillhead 2022

McCloskey International will unveil the new C2C as the latest entry into McCloskey's cone crusher line, with the powerful MC200 cone on display at stand L1 at Hillhead 2022. The C2C brings the power of a 200hp cone to a compact footprint offering high manoeuverability, with an exciting line-up of features aimed at boosting productivity.

McCloskey mobile cone crushers have been designed for superior performance while also achieving high capacity, better product quality, optimum versatility and improved fuel efficiency, and the C2C delivers on all. Standard features are far from standard including premium quality components, unrivalled ground level access, full-size MC200 cone, powerful engine, efficient conveyor design, and continuous load and material monitoring.

The C2C delivers high production from material feed to end product stockpile due to its innovative material flow features. A low feed height, large 6.2 cubic metre (8.1yd3) capacity Hardox lined hopper allows for stop function, while the unrestricted feed opening improves intake capability and reduces the risk of blockage.

As the material enters the cone chamber, features including a long stroke and high speed contribute to the high productivity, while ensuring the highest quality of end product with variable speed. Multi-layer crushing delivers great capacity, better reduction and shape combined with less liner wear.

As the material moves to the class-leading heavy duty 48-inch wide conveyor, the large gap between the crusher discharge and main conveyor feeder enhance material flow. Stockpiles are formed up to 3.3m and with ground level access the belt is easy to maintain and service.

Ready in under five minutes
Power is built into the C2C, with a robust 280 Kw (375hp) engine on board, and high capacity fuel and hydraulic tanks to reduce the amount of re-fuelling intervals. Mobility on-site and between sites is facilitated with remote control tracks that easily move and position the crusher and maximize the efficiency of any project site. The C2C can be set up and ready to work in less than five minutes.

Technology has been a key factor in the development of the C2C, with a 12-inch DSE control panel for the highest operational performance and reliability providing push button control of the cone, track and feeder functions. The crusher is fitted with a telematics modem for the new 365SiteConnex program, a complete connectivity solution for highly accurate monitoring of McCloskey products.

In terms of safety features, the C2C is equipped with engine safety shutdown systems, start-up alarms, full safety guarding, external maintenance access and a tagout capability on the isolator all contribute to the safe operation and maintenance of the equipment. Ground level access also promotes safety, and allows for quick service and maintenance, reducing the downtime for the operation.

The C2C cone crusher will be formally introduced at Hillhead 2022, June 21-23, 2022 in Buxton, UK. The crushers are suited particularly to aggregates, construction and demolition recycling, and aggregates.
