Mecalac Group unveils the new 12-Series
The Mecalac Group, a leading specialist in the design, production and distribution of compact machines for urban worksites, has announced the launch of its new range of wheel excavator loaders, the 12-Series, comprising the 12MSX, 12MTX and 12MRX models. True to the heritage of Mecalac excavators, this new generation has been designed to meet the diverse needs of customers. Conceived, designed and manufactured in their Annecy plant in France, the 12-Series combines innovation and performance, reflecting the Group's commitment to offering solutions that are increasingly adapted to market requirements.
More than just an excavator, the 12-Series features the most compact excavators in the world. It stands out for its unique wheel excavator loader concept, offering unrivalled versatility combined with exceptional performance and productivity:
- More than just an excavator: compact and powerful, it can work outside and parallel to the machine foot print area and can be fitted with buckets of up to 750 litres (0.98 yd3).
- More than a loader: 360° rotation, maximum dumping height and static loading thanks to its innovative kinematics.
- More than just a telescopic handler: impressive lifting capacities, enhanced safety and easy handling of the forks under ground level.
- More than just a tool carrier: greater versatility with the CONNECT quick coupler, Mecalac Tiltrotator compatibility and optimised ground speed management independent of attachment feed.Introduction of the 12-Series: a new design and improved performance
The 12-Series is a continuation of the iconic 12MTX model, with a modern design and technical improvements.
Its three main objectives are:
- Revolutionising the user experience with enhanced functionalities and new innovations.
- Offering customers tailored solutions for a rapid return on investment and reduced operating costs,
- To meet the needs of performance-oriented customers who demand productivity-oriented machines.
Each model embodies Mecalac's reliability, versatility and safety standards.
The 12MSX: a high-performance, affordable solution
Versatile and cost-effective, the 12MSX offers a level of performance and reliability that surpasses traditional 10-ton excavators, while optimising costs. It retains the same architecture as the 12MTX, the same compactness (2710 mm / 8'9'' turning diameter), the same 0.75m3 / 0.98yd3 loader bucket and can lift up to 4t / 8,818 lbs at 360°. Its 55 kW (75 hp) engine requires no AdBlue®.
The 12MTX: the evolution of an icon, with even greater performance
Of course, the 12MTX retains its extreme compactness, its large loader bucket capacity, its 85 kW (115 hp) engine and its impressive lifting performance of up to 4t / 8,818 lbs at 360°. What's more, the list of optional features has been extended to include advanced options such as a float boom function, tiltrotator and joystick steering, all of which further enhance productivity and versatility.
The 12MRX: an optimised architecture for optimum productivity
It retains all the benefits of the 12MTX, but differs in that it has a more powerful attachment drive pump, wide Heavy Duty axles, travel speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph) and greater tractive effort. Most of the new productivity options are standard on the 12MRX. This is the model that incorporates the most advanced technologies.
Efficiency and eco-responsibility: the all-in-one solution for responsible worksites
A single machine for digging, loading, handling and carrying tools. In the context of climate change, where the need to reduce CO2 emissions is a major global challenge, these machines represent a real asset. Less emissions, less noise, less maintenance and fewer movements on construction sites.
"The 12-Series confirms our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. We are proud to offer three new versions of our iconic excavator, each designed to meet specific objectives while respecting the quality and safety standards for which Mecalac is renowned. The 12-Series stands out for its innovative features and is our key asset for all urban worksites", says Alexandre Marchetta, President of the Mecalac Group.
