Molson appointed dealer for Husqvarna DXR demolition robots

The DXR range of remote-controlled demolition robots from Husqvarna is now available from Molson Group, including parts and maintenance services. Molson has introduced the range primarily for its safety benefits, with the machines able to carry out dangerous work that would otherwise be undertaken by humans using handheld tools.

The Husqvarna DXR range is the latest addition to Molson’s “single source supply” offering and brings the very latest technology and functional design, combining high power with low weight and long reach, as well as being electric-powered. This makes the Husqvarna DXR range ideal for challenging working environments, removing the need for people to work in unsafe spaces and delivering speed and efficiency. Early adopters will also be able to access a 0% finance offer on the range*.

All four of Husqvarna’s demolition robots will be offered across the UK through Molson, providing customers with different options depending on their needs. For example, the DXR 145’s compact design and 360-degree rotatable arm has been specifically designed to provide complete manoeuvrability in constrained spaces. Meanwhile, the DXR 305 offers the highest power-to-weight ratio in its class on the market whilst being able to fit through a standard doorway, making it suitable for a range of applications.

All of the robots can be combined with different demolition tools, such as breakers, hammers, crushers, and steel shearers. With its extensive demolition industry expertise and knowledge, Molson is excellently placed to advise customers on the most suitable options for their projects.

With 13 service locations strategically placed from Cornwall to Inverness, customers can be assured that they can access the products and parts they need. Over £50m of parts is kept in stock and Molson’s team of over 85 Mobile Service Engineers are dedicated to keeping customers’ businesses running. The DXR range will be available from Molson Equipment in England and Wales, with Molson Young Plant Sales providing coverage throughout Scotland.

“At Husqvarna, improving operator safety is our foremost priority,” said Andrew Miles, Country Manager UK & Ireland at Husqvarna Construction. “Our DXR range focuses on making every working day safer, easier, and more productive for the user. When looking for a distribution partner, Molson was the obvious choice, being well-established in the demolition sector and able to ensure our range of robots and components are easily accessible to our customers.”

“The introduction of Husqvarna’s unique products reflects Molson’s commitment to safety, alongside efficiency and innovation,” said Phil Bates, Molson Group Commercial Director. “Husqvarna Construction are well-known for innovation and robust build quality. They are also constantly developing a growing product range that focuses on safety by removing humans from high risk workspaces, which fits well with our customer and safety-focused approach,” he added.
