Molson Group buys Powerscreen of Washington
Molson Group, a leading UK equipment dealer, has expanded its US presence with the acquisition of Powerscreen of Washington. Molson, which generates over £375 million in revenue, made its first move into the US market in April through the acquisition of the screener and crusher manufacturer's California and Hawaii operations. Following the success of that deal, the acquisition of Powerscreen of Washington gives Molson coverage across the whole of the US West Coast and provides a strong platform for future growth in North America.
Following completion of the deal, Molson will be implementing its market-leading SmartCMD products, starting with DealerCMD, the ERP system that uses data insights to enable more accurate forecasting and business planning, and FleetCMD, the fleet management platform that uses advanced telematics to deliver insights into machine utilisation, fuel consumption, carbon emissions, running costs and more.
Molson is already an established supplier of Terex products in the UK, and the extension of its relationship with the manufacturing giant in the US is another benefit of the deal.
