New Bobcat Stage 5 loaders

With the launch of the new S550 and S590 models, Bobcat has completed the company’s M-series range of Stage 5 compliant skid-steer and compact track loaders.

Like the S450, S510 and S530 skid-steer and T450 and T590 compact track loaders launched earlier this year, the S550 and S590 combine compact dimensions with Stage 5 engine technology, telematics connectivity, new bold Bobcat styling with 3D decals and a two-year warranty as standard.

In contrast to the previously launched M-series models with Stage 5 engines, the new S550 and S590 have a number of advanced features as standard, including selectable joystick controls, high-flow hydraulics, an attachment control device (ACD) for managing attachment functions from the joystick, as well as two-speed drive and longer lasting, bi-directional Versatile Duty Tyres.

The 68hp S550 Stage 5 skid-steer loader has an operating weight of 2,995kg, an operating capacity of 926kg, a tipping load of 1,852kg, as well as radial lift path. Meanwhile, the 68hp S590 boasts an operating weight of 3,127kg, a rated operating capacity of 979kg, and a 1,958kg tipping load, plus a vertical lift path. Both machines are powered by Bobcat’s new, DPF-equipped, 2.4-litre D24 engine.
