New Case SV Series Backhoe Loaders

Case Construction Equipment had debuted its new Backhoe Loader SV Series, equipped with a new, FPT F36 Stage 5 engine. The new range is made up of three models: 580SV, 590SV and 695SV with outputs ranging from 96 to 110hp.

The wider cab is easier to access and provides greater clearance for the operator’s legs when rotating the seat between forward facing and rear facing configuration. Meanwhile, the left-hand cab console redesign also places the wiper tank beneath one of the new open tray storage units, enabling convenient refills via the left-hand door.

The refreshed can also features a relocated parking brake, new speedometer option, regrouped switches on the right-hand console, new integrated F-N-R switch in the loader control lever on the Power Shift model, new joystick roller switch for extending dipper operation and relocated stabiliser levers.

New rear side glasses boosts visibility and is cheaper to replace. Additional safety features include a 3db in-cab noise reduction to 74db, compared to the previous model, and a relocated horn switch that is easier to reach.

The FPT 3.6-litre engine’s High Efficiency SCR2 (Hi-eSCR2) aftertreatment system is said to be maintenance-free for the first 8,000 hours, and when teamed with the new Eco mode, contributes to 10% lower fuel consumption. Oil changes are now set at 500-hour interval; a new variable volume pump only provides oil when needed, helping to further reduce operating costs.
