New Doosan DX20Z-7 mini-excavator

Doosan has extended the company’s new generation mini-excavator family with the launch of the 2-tonne class DX20Z-7 model. The zero-tailswing machine is equipped with a Yanmar 3TNV70 3-cylinder Stage 5 diesel engine providing an output of 10.3kW (13.8hp) at 2,200rpm.

In its standard configuration, the DX20Z-7 has an operating weight of 1,995kg. With the optional 1.1m-long arm, the maximum digging depth of the DX20Z-7 is 2,345mm, the maximum dump height is 2,750mm and the maximum reach at ground level is 3,975mm. When at its fully retracted width of 950mm, the retractable undercarriage on the DX20Z-7 allows the machine to go through narrow spaces. Fully expanded, the width is 1,360mm. Expansion and retraction are simple and easy via a switch on the control panel.

Cab features include ample space for the operator’s feet, a flat floor that’s easy to clean, ergonomic pedals and easy access to all controls. Elsewhere, an LED lamp on the boom boosts visibility. Machine protection is provided by a heavy steel gauge tailgate, cylinder guards and battery cover. The tailgate provides access to components such as coolers and other daily maintenance and service points.
