New Doosan models at ARA Show

Doosan will display new crawler excavator and mini-excavator models aimed at rental customers at The American Rental Association (ARA) Show in Orlando, Florida in the USA, from February 11th to 15th 2023. The Doosan DX140LC-7 crawler excavator and DX27Z-7 and DX50Z-7 mini-excavators will be on-site during the show at booth 5026 at the Orange County Convention Center, where the ARA exhibition is taking place. Doosan staff will be available to help visitors explore each machine’s features.

DX140LC-7 Crawler Excavator
The DX140LC-7 (pictured top) is part of the innovative Doosan DX-7 Series of crawler excavators. These new DX-7 Series excavators pack more comfort features, intelligent controls and smart machine functionality. Doosan has made changes in the excavator’s mainframe for higher performance and jobsite versatility. The X-Chassis undercarriage on the DX140LC-7 further enhances durability and stability, while the track chain is sealed and self-lubricating for reduced maintenance.

Key stats for the 15.4-tonne DX140LC-7 include a power rating of 86kW 2,000rpm, a maximum digging depth of 6m with a 3m arm, a maximum digging reach at ground level of 8.5m, and a maximum loading height of 7.1m. A dozer blade is optional.

DX27Z-7 Mini-Excavator
The DX27Z-7 mini-excavator (shown above) is a new size class for the Doosan line-up. The rear-view camera allows an operator to navigate a full 360 degrees on jobsites. Other features include a 1,092mm standard thumb-ready arm and a 300mm rubber track undercarriage. A machine of this stature — just 1,524mm wide — can fit in many confined job sites. The DoosanConnect Telematics system comes standard, making it easier to remotely monitor and maintain the machine. Standard attachments for the DX27Z-7 mini-excavator include a bucket, quick coupler and thumb.

With a power rating of 18.4kW, the 2,987kg DX27Z-7 offers a maximum digging depth of 2.6m, a maximum digging reach of 4.5m and a maximum loading height of 3.1m.

DX50Z-7 Mini-Excavator
The 36.4kW Doosan DX50Z-7 mini-excavator (pictured above) is part of the 5-tonne size class. Its zero tailswing design makes it a popular choice for customers working in confined spaces on construction job sites or landscaping projects. A standard enclosed cab with heating and air conditioning keeps operators working comfortably throughout the day. A heated adjustable seat is available as an option for additional operator comfort. Standard attachments for the DX50Z-7 mini-excavator include a bucket, quick coupler and thumb.

The 5.5-tonne DX50Z-7 outputs 36.4kW, has a maximum digging depth of 3.5m, a maximum digging reach at ground level of 5.8m, and a maximum loading height of 3.8m.
