New Komatsu PW138MR-11 wheeled excavator
Komatsu Europe has revealed the PW138MR-11 excavator, the latest addition to its EU Stage 5 wheeled excavator family. The new PW138MR-11 promises to deliver first class operator comfort, smart safety initiatives, intuitive ergonomics, huge performance, razor-sharp controls, easy service, dynamic styling, peace of mind through a proven Komatsu aftertreatment system, and high levels of standard equipment – all in a compact package with impressive performance.
Up to 3% more productive than the PW118MR-11, the new PW138MR-11 can be provided with factory-fitted Lehnhoff Powertilt and Variolock options. Other features include an engine with DPF and SCR, a trailer pre-setting (a swivel joint with additional electric ports and connector), a new trailer hitch option for towing a trailer up to 3.5 tonnes in weight, plus LED work lamps as standard.
The new Komatsu PW138MR-11 also boasts an integrated attachment control for easy flow and pressure adjustment, a swing pedal function relocated to the joystick to create more space in the footwell, and a 100% differential lock to boost traction. A fourth KomVision camera is on the options list, and there’s automatic 2 way/1 way/2 way attachment switching.
