New Kubotas head to Snowdonia

Major Owen ltd, a family-owned Kubota machinery dealer, has renewed its long-standing partnership with Snowdonia National Park, recently supplying the authority with five new excavators. Based in Gwynedd, Wales, Major Owen is a specialist dealer offering a large range of machinery and equipment, alongside service and repair facilities. Kubota is the exclusive provider of its excavator offering and the established firm has on-going relationships throughout the local area, including with the National Park Authority.

Responsible for maintaining the largest national park in Wales, the Snowdonia National Park Authority continues to invest in the park’s upkeep, leading to its recent purchase from Major Owen. Five Kubota excavators were purchased as part of the park’s investment; two U10-3 micro excavators, two KX019-4 mini-excavators and one KX042-4 model, in addition to a pair of KC70 track dumpers. With the flexibility of the U10-3, Kubota’s smallest and lightest excavator, alongside the power and efficiency of the KX042-4, the National Park will make quick work of the tasks required to keep the park maintained and safe for visitors.

This latest purchase represents the third such order of Kubota excavators by the National Park Authority in recent years, following subsequent purchases in 2008 and 2013.
