New organisers lay out plans for the future of the PlantWorx show

Earlier today new organisers of PlantWorx 2027, the Nineteen Group, issued a statement on the future of the show.

Taking place from 22–24 June 2027, PlantWorx will combine the NEC's indoor exhibition halls with dedicated outdoor demonstration areas, allowing manufacturers to showcase machines under real working conditions. Organisers have confirmed that live digging and demonstration plots will feature throughout the three-day event, with a number of exhibitors already securing outdoor space.

The move to the NEC marks a new chapter for PlantWorx, offering improved facilities, excellent transport links and a more central location, while reportedly retaining the working format that has defined the exhibition since its launch.

An initial list of exhibitors was recently unveiled, with a number of major manufacturers confirming their attendance. Wacker Neuson, Manitou, Magni Telescopic Handlers, Hydrema, Auger Torque and Rototilt are among the companies already committed, while further exhibitor announcements are expected in the coming months.

Visitors will also benefit from free parking throughout the event, with the NEC's motorway, rail and airport connections expected to improve accessibility for contractors, plant hire companies and equipment owners travelling from across the UK.

PlantWorx also committed to continue its partnership with the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), with discounted exhibition rates remaining available for CEA members.
