Rocket Rental's JCB investment passes £4.5 million
Rocket Rentals has taken delivery of 40 new JCB site dumpers in a £1.5 million deal, taking the company’s total investment in JCB equipment this year to more than £4.5 million.
Supplied by Holt JCB, the latest order follows a major fleet expansion earlier in 2026, when the company purchased 55 new JCB excavators, Loadall telescopic handlers and compaction rollers.
The latest additions comprise JCB 3T-2, 6T-2 and 9T-2 models, in both cabbed and non-cabbed configurations. The machines will be deployed across a range of construction, industrial and civil engineering projects.
Rocket Rentals Managing Director Simon Tomblin said: “We’ve been running JCB site dumpers for a number of years and with the upturn in work towards the end of last year and continuing into 2026, we decided to further develop the fleet with more machines. The reliability and quality of the products made the decision straightforward for us.
“The JCB site dumpers are easy to use, the safety systems are excellent and we’ve added additional cameras across the fleet too. On the cabbed machines we really value features like air conditioning as standard, while the integration with JCB LiveLink is a tremendous help in managing the fleet.
“We’re also proud to buy British and, with support from Holt JCB, alongside JCB Finance and JCB Insurance, it gives us a complete one-stop shop for equipment and support.”
Founded in 2003, Rocket Rentals has grown into a regional plant and tool hire specialist. Its expanding JCB fleet now supports construction, industrial and civil engineering projects with equipment ranging from one- to 25-tonne excavators, through to dumpers, rollers, Loadall telescopic handlers, bowsers, generators and access equipment.
