Sany Advance in Scotland
Advance Construction, one of the largest groundworks contractors in Scotland, is ending 2021 with an order of 16 brand new Sany excavators which will be delivered throughout December and January. Purchased through the manufacturer’s direct sales route, Sany Scotland, the deal consists of a mixture of Sany SY35Us, SY50Us and SY80Us.
“We are absolutely delighted to win an order of this size from Advance Construction as everyone watches what this company does,” commented Lyle Sibbald, General Manager of Sany Scotland. “Over the past 12 months we have invested heavily in our Scottish direct sales route and this deal is a fantastic end to a great first year for SANY,” continued Sibbald.
Sany Group started in 1989 as a small welding supply company founded by four young men who wanted to offer better products to the world. Over the last three decades, Sany Group has grown and evolved into a global brand with a sales turnover of $15 billion. One of the most successful products in the Sany range is its hydraulic excavator and in 2020 the company broke a record selling 98,705 excavators worldwide accounting for 15% of the global market.
