Starbuck Still Smiling with Sany
I have never been fortunate enough to meet ‘Jimmy’ in person, but hopefully one day I will get the opportunity to do so, I love his straight-talking attitude, business knowledge and the fact that in true Aussie fashion, he never sugar coats things, and simply tells is like it is.
He has developed a good following on social media, and he is one guy that I always enjoy watching on his podcast videos, as its always guaranteed to be an interesting chat.
Jimmy has invested in a wide range of machinery brands over the years for his business Starbuck Excavation including Caterpillar, John Deere and Hidromek to name a few.

His move to the Sany brand just over 12 months ago, shocked many, but their adoption has opened people’s eyes and given the Chinese manufactured machines some great exposure on the internet.
It’s safe to say that Jimmy has been impressed with them and his relationship with the brand and main dealer Vertu Group looks set to continue.
Vertu Groups Brooke Eastwood caught up with Jimmy for a 12-month update on how things are going, checkout the video below.
EDIT: Ironically since I prepared this post over the weekend, I see its been announced on LinkedIn that Brooke Eastwood is leaving Vertu Equipment, to take up another job in the industry, we wish Brooke well with the new role, and look forward to finding out more in due course.
