Takeuchi Turn on the Style at Bauma
Takeuchi displayed new prototype electric powered mini excavators at Bauma, namely the TB10e which weighs in at around 1,180kgs and the significantly larger TB35e which tips the scales at 3,960kgs.
Also shown and being demonstrated on an adjoining part of the booth, was the latest battery-electric powered TB20e which has been available commercially for some time, and can now be configured with a fully heated cab.
Also displayed were examples from Takeuchi’s range compact tracked loaders such as the TL12V2, these machines continue to grow in popularity. One would have to think, that with the growing popularity for compact tracked loaders in the market, its only a matter of time before these become available to purchase in the UK
Also on stand was the new 7-tonne class TB370W wheeled excavator which actually made its first public appearance around 12 months ago at Intermat in Paris. We are still to have some seat time in one of these but I hope to get it done at some point this year for a full report in Earthmovers.
