Takeuchi’s Baby Duck Just Gets Better and Better
The TB395W, the long-awaited replacement for the TB295W made its first public appearance at Bauma 2022, and featured on the Takeuchi UK demonstration plot during Plantworx last year, operated by long standing Takeuchi customer/owner/operator and ambassador Owen Mays, that particular example only featured 2WS but was fitted with an Engcon tiltrotator.
The TB395W 4WS is now available to order through Takeuchi UK dealers, and with the switch controlled steering mode, makes the machine even more versatile, improves overall traction and manoeuvrability on tight jobsites.
The machine which is powered by a Stage-V-emissions compliant Deutz 85kw diesel engine, includes all the features we have come to expect from the 3-Series range, including automotive and ergonomic styled cab interior, with jog dial, 8’’ full colour monitor, and all the creature comforts including air con climate control, adjustable steering column, and 270° cameras, offering excellent blindspot visibility + extra window depth on blindside for improved visibility to the offside. LED lights are now standard too.
The Auto Cruise function enables operators to set and adjust their travel speeds by the simple press of a button, ideal for when using attachments that require a consistent, repeatable travel speed, such as a mulcher, mower or trencher. In addition, operators can easily select auxiliary preset modes to match all types of attachments with adjustable flow and pressures and optional password secure presets.
The now standard 2-piece-boom is such useful feature for “duck work” offering increased flexibility to get the job done in a wide range of applications.
Takeuchi Fleet Management (TFM) telematics system comes standard on the TB395W. Helping to reduce downtime and controlling costs by providing owner/operators with machine health and condition, hours and machine location, as well as remote diagnostics. Also gives owners the ability to geofence their machines, helping to protect and secure their investments.
Optional outriggers can be specified as can alternative gapless, and flotation style tyres
