Uplifting Liebherr in Defence Mode
Liebherr has collaborated with German ballistic protection specialists HINTSTEINER DEFENCE to develop an innovative protection system that can be modified to suit standard range machines, without the need for any major modifications, to vital components, such as the undercarriage, braking and hydraulic systems.
The extremely tough, and critically lightweight new technology carbon body shells can be retrofitted to military machines, in this instance the Liebherr T 36-7S telescopic handler. The cab also looks to be heavily armoured with, one would imagine, bullet proof glass for the protection of the individual operating the machine in zones of conflict.
