Vaculug announces further national expansion
Vaculug has expanded its off-the-road (OTR) tyre operations with new product partnerships, additional service locations and increased national support for customers in the construction, quarrying and industrial sectors.
The Grantham-based tyre specialist has broadened its OTR portfolio with the addition of the Triangle brand, complementing its existing partnership with Magna to offer a wider range of tyres for different applications and budgets.
Supporting the expanded product range is a major investment in the company's service network. Three dedicated OTR fitting trucks are now operating nationwide, alongside new service hubs and distribution centres, enabling faster response times and improved parts availability. By holding stock at multiple locations, Vaculug says it can provide same-day or next-day delivery to a much larger customer base.
The company has also invested in upgraded management systems that provide customers with tailored reporting and operating cost analysis, while exchange wheel assemblies for machines from manufacturers including Caterpillar, JCB, Volvo and Hyundai are designed to minimise downtime during tyre replacement.
Alongside the operational expansion, Vaculug has been awarded the King's Award for Enterprise in the Sustainability category. The award recognises the company's long-standing commitment to tyre retreading and the circular economy, including its work promoting the wider adoption of retreaded tyres. Vaculug says retreading offers both environmental benefits and lower operating costs, making it an increasingly attractive option for fleet operators.
