A date with the latest Chinese offering

Today the only way is Essex as I am in the county for a couple of days, where I will be getting up close and personal with the latest range of Chinese excavators to enter the UK market, Sunward.

Sunward have had a presence in other parts of Europe for some time now and I have seen the machines during recent visits to MaskinExpo in Sweden. The distinctive blue excavators are now being sold and serviced in this country by a newly formed dealership Sunward UK who are based in Grays, Essex.

Chinse machines took their time arriving on UK shores but following the success of LiuGong and Sany it appears that the appetite for success in the UK market is expanding and attracting other manufacturers to dip a toe in the water so as to speak.

I am going to be test driving the company’s 21 tonne offering the SWE210M for Earthmovers Magazine.
