A new Hyundai R140W-9A “rubber duck” Joins the Rodeschini family business.
Hyundai dealer EMMIC, located in the walled city of Beaune in France, offered the company a Hyundai R140W-9A demo machine. Rodeschini liked the quality and the service offered by EMMIC, this along with sound advice offered by dealer, led to the company purchasing its first Hyundai machine! Rodeschini was founded by the Grandfather of the current owners, Michel and Pascal Rodeschini, the company has continued to grow year on year and in 1984 a new arm to the business was started - road transport and hire - which transports materials and public works equipment. "Our biggest customers in this field are Colas, who are world-leaders in construction and maintenance of infrastructure, Roger Martin and STPI, which is a global leader in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical switching systems." Said Michel Rodeschini. Added Michel. Since the company began in 1931 Sarl Rodeschini has secured its place as a very successful business and boasts a large fleet of cranes, trucks, backhoe loaders, and crawler excavators. "I wanted to purchase a wheeled excavator for two reasons,” said Michel, “I thought this type of machine was important for our company and the type of work we undertake, including logistics and earthmoving, also in recent months, I have had several requests to hire this type of machine." Michel added, "Since I started working in the family business at 18-years old, I've always purchased machines from the same manufacturer. I did think that it was inconceivable for me to buy another brand!   But following the great advice of Hyundai dealer EMMIC and having the R140W-9A on demo, I was now able to work with ease in earthmoving VRD (external works, roads and utilities).  I immediately saw all the opportunities it could bring me and I was really confident in this machine.  I found it flexible, easy to use, robust and powerful.  My operator was also very satisfied and found the cabin spacious with excellent visibility.  The personal relationship is very important when dealing with a company and with EMMIC I immediately had complete confidence.” Rodeschini purchased the R140W -9A with the loading shovel, four different buckets for various applications, and also an Engcon tiltrotator.   The machine has an operating weight of 13700 kg and is fitted with a Cummins QSB6.7 engine with a net power of 136 hp (101 kW ) at 2100 rev / min.. The R140W-9A is energy efficient, is low in emissions and low in noise levels.
