Ali Kaye Gets Up Close and Personal with Develon’s Dash-9

The man behind the Ali’s Digger Diary You Tube Channel posted his latest video over the weekend, and it features him getting a quick look around a new DX230-9 hydraulic excavator.

We have featured Ali’s Digger Diary before here on the Digger Man Blog, and it’s a great channel for anyone who is in to the technical maintenance side of plant and machinery, and indeed for finding out solutions to day-to-day problems that we can face on site with the machinery.

In this latest episode Ali’s who works as a field service engineer for Gordons Construction Equipment up in Cumbria, has a chance encounter with a new Develon DX230-9 that had recently landed in the yard.

In the video Ali gives us a tour of the new machine, and gives us his thoughts on the design and features from an engineer’s perspective, which makes for an interesting watch.

We first saw the DX230-9 and the DX260-9 when they were first launched at Bauma in April this year, and I had the exclusive opportunity to test drive the first DX260-9 to be delivered anywhere in Europe in Finland with Real Machinery Oy in August.

I was keen to see what Ali had to say about the new Dash-9 Develon machines.
