Arachnid excavator looks familiar

It must be said that there is very little in the world that the Chinese will not copy and here is another piece of machinery that looks very similar to some of the well know European Spyder style excavators.

I often have a little grin to myself while touring the trade shows when I spot some of our far eastern friends snapping shots of long established manufacturer’s kit, often in the minutest of detail, even taking close up shots of things like hinges and door catches and the like. I came across this video recently featuring Chinese company XCMG’s version of a Spyder excavator, I’ll just let you decide whose machine it looks like?
