Awesome Cat ADT Birthday cake

Over the years on the Digger Man Blog we have featured quite a few machinery themed birthday cakes, but this latest creation really does take the biscuit!

This incredible fondant delicacy was created by a local cake maker to celebrate New South Wales, Australia, based heavy plant and machinery man, Quinton Cowlings birthday. The cake is based on a Caterpillar 740B EJ ejector style dumptruck and is said to be entirely edible, except for the hand rails around the cab. I think you would agree, the detail and styling on this cake is amazing, in fact I would go as far as saying it’s the best one I have ever seen, a real credit to the creator who must have put in many hours of work to achieve the end result.

Quinton works for the long established civil engineering and earthmoving company TRN Group in New South Wales and is a keen machinery enthusiast also running a Facebook group called Australian Earthmoving. I believe he was planning on taking sections of the cake to share with his workmates out on site, I am just glad to have seen all the photos before it was cut up and eaten. Great stuff!
