Costly salvage operation

  We have not had a good machine bogged video on the Digger Man Blog for a while so here is a new one that is doing the rounds on the internet at the moment. Not a lot of information to be found on this event, but no doubt some of our Swedish friends will know a bit more about it. This incident took place in February when a forestry forwarder and an excavator fell foul to the notorious wetlands in Northern Sweden. The operation to remove the pieces of kit took several weeks to complete in what proved to be a complicated and costly salvage operation involving underwater diving and heavy towing equipment in addition to supporting excavators.
