Demo Expo 2015

The second Demolition Expo event takes place this week 26th-27th June at J Mould’s Reading Quarry and promises to be the must see event for those involved in the demolition industry.

In this blog post I am going to share a few photos from the first Demo Expo event in 2013 as a taster of what you can expect to see at this year’s event.  The two day show was developed by the NFDC and the IDE and this year’s event promises to be even bigger than the first one which attracted over 1,000 people over the course of the two days. There will be plenty to see and do including indoor exhibitions and those all-important outdoor demonstration plots where visitors can see the latest products for the demolition industry being displayed and in some cases the opportunity to get hands on with the machines and attachments. Amongst all the high tech modern high reach kit and attachments on display, another popular attraction at the first event was the display of classic vintage plant, many examples of which will be making a welcome return to this year’s show. The Saturday will be family fun day with lots of activities planned for the younger generation while offering them a chance to see how exciting a career in the demolition industry can be. Check out this video from the last event in 2013 and keep your eyes peeled for a brief appearance from yours truly, which I had not seen before! There will be something for everyone at Demolition Expo 2015! So head for Reading Quarry, Berrys Lane, Burghfield, RG30 3XA and I will see you there!
