Desford visitors go for the big squeeze

Regular readers of the blog may recall our post about how many people could squeeze into a mini excavator cab, well now a team of visitors to Cat in Leicester have gone for the record in a backhoe loader.

During a recent sales seminar at Caterpillar’s stunning Visitor and Learning Centre in Desford, members of Turkish Caterpillar dealership Borusan Makina, decided to see just how many of them could cram into the cab of the latest Cat 444F2 backhoe loader.

On this occasion the spacious new Cat cab accommodated 8 members of the team from Turkey. This was another fun event for the visitors from Istanbul, which had also seen them taking part in the Caterpillar Kicking Challenge at the Leicester Tigers rugby stadium the night before.

However, I am confident this number can be beaten so here is the challenge, get as many people into the cab of your Cat backhoe loader as possible and send your photos into us at Earthmovers and we will see if we can find a prize for the winner!
