Easy Tilt the New Kid on the Block

There’s another new name in the tiltrotator sector this time coming from Finland aiming to make tilting and rotating “Easy”.

We have noticed that a number of Sunward dealers appear to be offering the Finnish manufactured and fully patented Easy Tilt units which are available in 10 different size classes ranging from 1.2 – 2.0 tonne up to 14.0 – 15.5 tonnes excavators.

Simplicity appears to be a key element with this brand making them a cost-effective alternative to the perceived big three players from Sweden. The hydraulic cylinders are all protected and the rotator unit does not contain an electrical system which can cause problems as we have seen over the years.  

According to the manufacturer this lack of electrics makes them ideal for water construction projects, where protection and reliability are paramount. The low maintenance requirements make Easy Tilt rotators an effortless and user-friendly choice.

Most we have seen so far are painted in the Sunward blue, but apparently customers can specify any brand colour they require so the unit matches the host machine.

In the fiercely competitive tiltrotator sector, it will be interesting to see how this all pans out for the business. It’s a case of watch this space to see what happens next.
