Excavator song you’ve just got to “Dig It”

It’s that time of year as we are all starting to get in the party spirit, so here is a little ditty from our friends over at the Constructionshows.com website to sing along too on a Friday.

It’s not very often that diggers and machinery are featured in popular music. In fact the last one I can recall is the JCB Song which Nizlopi made it to number 1 the week before Christmas back in December 2005. Sadly it was inevitably knocked off the number 1 spot by that year’s tedious offering from the X Factor.

The JCB Song really did capture the imagination of the public and while this country and western style offering called Dig It which has been produced in cooperation with Glen Welman, is not likely to hit the charts anytime soon, it is still a good little tune for those of us in the trade who can relate to the sentiment behind the lyrics.
