Fun in the Snow for Lännen

We have experienced a bit of snow in the UK this past week, mainly in the North of England and Scotland, but in Finland and the wider Nordic regions it’s a regular occurrence every winter.

Finnish company JH-Infra purchased one of the first Lännen M series machines back in the autumn of 2020. The 8600M has since amassed over 2100 operating hours working on construction projects and maintenance work.

In the winter time when construction work slows up, machines in these regions are often then deployed to winter work, including snow ploughing, snow removal and other weather related maintenance jobs, having a multi-functional machine like this enables the contractor to keep working and earning money, while providing a valuable service to the community, so everyone can still get around and continue work themselves, I am always amazed at the efficiency of it all in Finland and Sweden too, they are so used to the conditions and know how to deal with it so effectively.

This machine is equipped with a snow blade on the backhoe, mounted under and SMP tiltrotator, while on the front end it has a winged large capacity snow bucket, its poetry in motion to watch this machine going about its business.
