Getting attached at Hillhead

Attachment manufacturers and dealers were once again out in force at Hillhead and in this post we will take a brief look at some of them.

Sean Heron and the crew from Worsley Plant were once again to be found on their regular corner spot opposite the Finning Cat stand. There was a distinct red & black flavour to the stand this time around with attachments from Worsley’s portfolio including Rotar and Lehnhoff on the red side and Remu and MB Crusher spa sporting distinctive black and yellow paintwork. On the demo plot social media digger celebrity owner operator Rick Eyre was demonstrating a variety of attachments on his Lehnhoff equipped Liebherr excavator including this MB Crusher bucket.

On the TiltRotators UK stand Tim Wood and the team were displaying a static model of Rototilts latest offering the new R5 tilt-rotator designed for machines in the 14 – 19 tonne class range.

ECY Haulmark were once again in their regular spot for Hillhead and presented a wide variety of their product range including the OilQuick system, and OilQuicks Rototilt inspired tilt-rotator units and selector grabs from VTN.

Also spotted on stand was this impressive looking La Bounty MHP 200 material processor.

Our friends at Strickland MFG were displaying examples from their comprehensive range of buckets and attachments including their new S-Lock hydraulic quick coupler, alongside grabs and ripper teeth.

Big news on the BPH Attachments stand was the official launch of their new ProQuick hydraulic quick coupler system from ProDem.

The system features an all-new design which is said to prevent ingress of dirt into the vital components which can often cause issues with these kind of systems. The geometry of this quick coupler also allows for the pick-up of all standard bucket and attachments.

Swedish manufacturer Engcon displayed a wide variety of its ever expanding attachment portfolio, many of these attachments were being demonstrated on the demo plot by another digger social media celebrity Aimee Pooley aka DuckGirl on Twitter and You Tube.
